Understand what being neurodivergent actually means for you

Mapping the territory

You've just opened up that new fiction book that called to you from the shelves.

It's one of a series of who knows how many and there's a whole new world to discover in its pages.

But fear not, those first pages also include beautiful maps to help you orientate.

In unfamiliar environments, having a map to help navigate can make all the difference.

Discovering you're neurodivergent can feel like being dropped into a new world, or at least seeing it from an entirely different perspective.

This coaching framework is designed to help you create your map.

What does this involve?

8 x 50 minute 1:1 online coaching sessions.

These can be weekly or fortnightly with invited explorations between each (I don’t set homework).

Cartography is an art and a science, a gorgeous combination that leaves plenty of room for different styles and approaches. As such we can get going with the basic landscape and then customise with your keys and symbols.

NOTE - I'm leaning heavily into analogy here - we won't actually be drawing a map.

Having said that, if you want to, I'd love to see it!

The basics could include :

  • sensory needs and your nervous system
  • understanding your energy and capacity
  • exploring executive function
  • managing focus
  • regulating emotions
  • navigating dysregulation
  • identifying what you find regulating
  • your preferred ways of communicating

Price - £800 (£100 per session)

It can get pretty overwhelming

  • reading all the information out there on Autism/ADHD/AuDHD, looking for others you can relate to and trying to make sense of yourself

  • wondering where on Earth the guidebook is for navigating the whirlwind of discovering your neurodivergence

  • going in so deep on this rabbit hole that you don’t notice you’re hungry, need the toilet and haven’t drunk any water today

What if you could...?

  • really get to know and understand your neurodivergent experience and how this shows up for you in different environments

  • navigate your life with an awareness of what is energising and what drains you, no longer puzzled by why you are exhausted

  • use this awareness to be able to choose things that actually help

  • have visual reminders of what supports you, or perhaps even a physical box/bag ready with all the things that soothe your system

Is coaching the right support for now?

Able to be both held and stretched

Trust, at least a little, that you’re OK

Able to be both held and stretched

There are times when validation is vital, especially when getting through the day is enough.

There are also times when you’re ready to be gently challenged, to step into new ways of thinking and being.

In coaching, I offer both. The question is whether you’re open to both.

Have some energy for change

Trust, at least a little, that you’re OK

Able to be both held and stretched

Growth can be slow and non-linear, but it still asks for your attention. If all your energy is going into getting through the day, it may be hard to engage.

Although sometimes the work is learning how to create more space.

Trust, at least a little, that you’re OK

Trust, at least a little, that you’re OK

Trust, at least a little, that you’re OK

You don’t need unshakable confidence, but it helps if your worth isn’t something you’re asking coaching to prove.

This space works best when there’s a quiet sense, however small, that you’re already enough.

If that feels out of reach, therapy can help build that foundation first.

Here for the process

Feel a spark of curiosity

Trust, at least a little, that you’re OK

Coaching isn’t a quick fix (there's nothing to fix).

It’s a space for experimentation, and curiosity not just outcomes.

Feel a spark of curiosity

Feel a spark of curiosity

Feel a spark of curiosity

Even faintly, there’s something in you reaching for more - meaning, possibility, aliveness.

What's it like to be coached by me?

How would you describe your experience?

What are you doing differently as a direct result of coaching?

What was your favourite part of working together?

"Gentle, thoughtful vibes and an affirming, no-pressure / low-stakes space to think through issues and be supported in experimenting toward more desirable outcomes. Also amazing listening."

What was your favourite part of working together?

"The summaries! No, I'm joking (though they were really good).  I thought the way you responded to what I was bringing to sessions was really great, and I most appreciated the balance of general (neuro-informed) affirmation and useful information / concepts / frameworks to better grasp the challenges I've been experiencing. It really worked for me."

What are you doing differently as a direct result of coaching?

"I have started coaching myself much more deliberately through tasks – using new strategies, more compassionate self-talk, and anticipating hurdles I'm also generally more accepting of myself"
