Break free of the constant 'should-ing'

  • struggling to focus, comparing yourself to others and thinking ‘I should just be able to sit and do my work’. Then getting a week’s worth of work done in a day and feeling guilty about resting

  • feeling like a chameleon that can't remember its original colour

  • masking and trying to fit in, but deep down feeling like an outsider pretending to be someone else

What if you could...?

  •  give yourself the permission to lean into, and seek our ease in your day-to-day life. It doesn’t have to be hard

  • know what you need to feel comfortable and happy in yourself at work, and confidently communicate it

  • work in a way that supports your needs, trusting that the work will get done and that you can communicate expectations with those around you

  • come home to yourself - learning to love, accept, and embrace your authentic self

  • find spaces where you can show up as yourself, amongst awesome, like-minded people

A little about me

Hello, I'm Lauren.

I’m a qualified workplace wellbeing coach, trainer, speaker and founder of Curious Coaching. I’m also a late-discovered Autistic ADHD-er.

Constant curiosity has taken me from trying to understand the origins of the Universe as a particle Physicist, to delving into what it means to be neurodivergent in a world built for neurotypicals.

Neuro-affirming coaching designed to embrace your unique work-life rhythm

I specialise in providing workplace wellbeing coaching, translating this knowledge into awareness and practical strategies.

Together we move from the chaos and pushing through to a working day that gives you the freedom and space you need.

My approach is focused on three key areas: self-awareness, self-advocacy and finally self-acceptance.

We're a good fit if

We're a good fit if

We're a good fit if

  • you're curious about what life could look like outside of neuro-normative standards

  • you want to be kinder to yourself, prioritising your wellbeing and making space for your authentic self

  • you’re a lifelong learner, curious to understand yourself better and work with your neurodivergence

  • you want a framework for coaching, with the flexibility to adapt and meet you where you are at

  • you don't mind cutting to the chase, skipping the small talk in favour of meaningful conversations

This sounds like me, let's chat

I'm not for you if

We're a good fit if

We're a good fit if

  • you're looking to 'fix', 'cure', or 'get rid of' your neurodivergence

  • you're determined to fit in and find a way to be like everyone else

  • you're expecting me to have all the answers and tell you what to do

  • you’re not prepared to try things out, and get things wrong

What's it like to work with me?

‘ I found it very easy to quickly gain a connection and have trust in Lauren, she's very approachable making it very easy to build a rapport and get into the areas I was wanting to look at.

It can often take time for me to focus on a specific topic but Lauren gave me plenty of time and space to do this, from setting light expectations before the session to allowing me to think and talk my way through a few tangents first.

I was particularly impressed in how quickly she identified something in in my own experiences that I could use going forward but in a way that was relatable to me. Noticing feelings and emotions is not in my skill set so Lauren found a way to make that much easier (it involved a wheel falling off a pick-up truck which is absolutely on brand for me).

At the end of our session I felt like we'd really achieved something, leaving me with some valuable tools for the future. I wouldn't hesitate to use Lauren for coaching again or recommend her to anyone else, particularly with her focus on neurodivergent coaching.’

Frequently Asked Questions

Please get in touch if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes, I do.

Please email me, or book a call, to talk about which coaching option is the best fit for you and for the funding you have been allocated.

I do not offer monthly sessions. The reason for this it is easier to maintain momentum, establish accountability, and build new habits with more frequent 1:1s.

This time is for you to experiment and exploration what we have talked about . It gives you the opportunity to make small changes and reflect on what works for you, ready for our next conversation. This is where the magic happens. We can learn so much through actually doing the thing, and seeing how it goes.

If you would like to work together then the process could look something like this:

  1. research me
  2. email me with any questions you have OR book a call (below) to talk it through
  3. discuss your challenges and how I could support you. If I don’t think I am a good fit then I can refer you to other coaches
  4. I will follow up with a summary of what we talked about and any suggestions
  5. take some time to think it through and potentially speak to other coaches
  6. get back in touch if you would like to work together
  7. we both sign a coaching agreement
  8. I book in our first session and send you the zoom invite

What's next?

If all of this has got you feeling curious, there are a few different things you can do next:

  • reach out with any follow-up questions via email (see faqs above)
  • learn more about me
  • book a call with me to talk about what coaching would look like for you
